Vacuum hoses

Laying of vacuum hoses on the SR20Di engine. Positions with "1" on "9" specify hoses to which are referred in the text. The arrow indicates the forward party of the car

On the SR20DE engine does not make special work correctly to connect vacuum hoses. It is necessary to remember that it is impossible to confuse absorber hoses to absorbent carbon as one is connected to the inlet pipeline, and another with the butterfly valve case. The third hose is connected between a regulator of pressure and the inlet pipeline.

Contrast to it is connection of hoses on the SR20Di engine as on this engine 9 different hoses are connected. On an illustration it is shown, how these hoses are laid. The look "And" on the bottom party shows the valve of switching (15) from a reverse side that it was visible where hoses are connected. Separate hoses are laid as follows:

  1. The hose (1) is laid between the valve of return of the fulfilled gases (13) and the valve of adjustment of the fulfilled gases (10).
  2. The hose (2) is connected between the valve of adjustment of the fulfilled gases (10) and threefold connection (12).
  3. The hose (3) is connected between threefold connection (12) and the adjusting valve of system of return of the fulfilled gases and an adsorber with absorbent carbon (11).
  4. The hose (4) is connected between the adjusting valve of system of return of the fulfilled gases and an adsorber with absorbent carbon (11) and the vacuum pipeline.
  5. The hose (5) is connected between the vacuum pipeline and the air filter.
  6. The hose (6) is connected between the adjusting valve of system of return of the fulfilled gases and an adsorber with absorbent carbon and the lower part of the case of a butterfly valve.
  7. The hose (7) is connected between a box with absorbent carbon (16) and a tee (12).
  8. Hose (8) it is connected between the switching valve (15) and the inlet pipeline.
  9. The hose (9) is connected between a regulator of pressure of fuel (14) and the lower part of the case of a butterfly valve.
  10. On the engine without the catalyst there are only hoses (8) and (9).
  11. All hoses are fixed by collars and couplers. At installation and connection of hoses collars should fasten in former situation. Do not leave hoses to hang loose as they can fray for a short time. Special attention turn on to mixing hoses on an adsorber with absorbent carbon as reburning паров gasoline will not be carried out.
