Corners of installation of back wheels

Disorder of back wheels is established at plant and cannot be regulated. It is necessary to measure a convergence of back wheels, if levers act in film cross-section or longitudinal. The convergence is regulated by means of the adjusting device on internal fastening of cross-section levers. Measure a convergence as it was described in head the Suspension bracket and a steering. If value lies out of limits from-2.0 to +2.0 mm, execute the following adjustment:


  1. Establish a back part of the car on support.
  2. Find heads of both internal bolts of fastening of cross-section levers and to put marks with a center punch, having marked the provision of bolts.

Shift of bolts on inside of cross-section levers. The direction of shift of the left lever (And) and the right lever (In) opposite

1 — the shift direction for receiving a negative convergence
2 — the shift direction for receiving a positive convergence
3 — parallel levers
  1. Weaken nuts of both bolts and turn bolts to change a convergence. Each division of a head of a bolt changes a convergence to 2.0 mm. As shift of bolts mutual is opposite, it is necessary to adhere to an illustration and the following instructions:
    • On the right lever rotate a bolt to the right to receive a negative convergence and to the left, to receive the positive.
    • On the left lever rotate a bolt to the right to receive a positive convergence and to the left, to receive the negative.
    • For both adjusting devices it is supposed that on both heads of bolts look from a back part of the car.
  2. After shift of bolts again place them in a persistent plate (1) (see an illustration) and tighten nuts with demanded effort.
  3. Check a convergence. Probably it is necessary to make additional adjustment.
