Back amortization racks and shock-absorbers


As removal of one detail influences removal of other detail, works are described together. On illustrations the Type of a collected back suspension bracket on the one hand (with disk brakes) and Elements of the disassembled back suspension bracket are shown to a detail in a collected condition in the form of assembly diagram. Being guided by these illustrations:


  1. Remove a back seat, remove the top fastening of the shock-absorber and unscrew three nuts from the top party of the shock-absorber. Not to unscrew a nut in the middle (a nut of a rod of the piston), however under some circumstances it is possible to unscrew it. Thus the car should stand on wheels.
  2. Establish a back part of the car on wheels and unscrew back wheels. Include the first transfer or a backing that the car could not roll down from support. Leave under a back cross-section beam the lift.
  3. Remove a cap nut of the brake pipeline on connection with a brake hose, take out the pipeline from a hose and beat out a spring plate from a hose. Take out a hose from a fastening plate.
  4. Unscrew a stabilizer bar from an amortization rack and disconnect it.
  5. Unscrew from the bottom party of an amortization rack both nuts and a bolt of an amortization rack from the holder of a nave of a wheel and carefully beat out bolts. Insert a screw-driver in tightening shlitsa of an amortization rack and slowly wring out the holder of a nave down while it will not be released from an amortization rack.
  6. Take out an amortization rack down. Check, on what party laying as it can remain on a body lies.

Dismantling of an amortization rack

  1. Clamp the bottom party of an amortization rack in a vice. In order to avoid a szhimaniye of a tightening element, it is possible to insert a face head before tighten a vice.
  2. Establish on spring rounds a szhimatel, as shown for forward springs and completely unscrew a nut in the middle of an amortization rack. Remove from a rack all elements represented on an illustration. Both support of a rack are established in a certain position which it is necessary to mark before removal of support. On the car with the carburetor engine two amortization racks with different diameter of rods of pistons are established. Bufera of a course of compression it is necessary to replace together with an amortization rack.
  3. If it is required to replace only a spring, it is not required to carry out any other works.
  4. Check the shock-absorber, having clamped it vertically in a vice, compressing and stretching it. On all piston stroke pressure should be identical. At movement by breakthroughs it is necessary to replace the shock-absorber.
  5. Order back springs according to the catalog.

Assembly of an amortization rack


  1. Clamp an amortization rack in a vice.
  2. Put on a rack the compressed spring. Check, that the spring entered into a cup contour, apparently from an illustration. The spring on one end has a flat end face. This party should be turned up. Besides spring замаркирована one and two labels. Two labels should be on the bottom party.

Installation of an amortization rack


  1. Connect the holder of a nave to an amortization rack, level carving openings and hammer bolts from the stabilizer of cross-section stability. Screw nuts and tighten with effort of 100-120 N • m.

  1. Fix the shock-absorber on the top party three nuts (impose laying) and tighten nuts with effort of 45-55 N • m.
  2. Attach a bar of the stabilizer of cross-section stability and tighten a nut with effort of 42-48 N • m.
  3. All other works execute in return sequence.
  4. Remove air from brake system.
